Ever wondered how some people seem to get so much done? They don't have a secret assistant or a time machine. They just know these 4 secrets. And now you do too! Lucky you!
Here are the 4 key things you need to do at the start of each week to ensure it's a productive one.
01. Block Out Time for Admin
Schedule time during your work week where you can deal with recurring tasks like responding to emails, updating spreadsheets or scheduling social media posts.
This allows you to work on your main tasks uninterrupted.
02. Appointments & Meetings
Block out times during the week where you have pre-scheduled meetings, appointments or other commitments.
This will clearly show the time slots you have available.
Can you optimise your time by moving anything around?
03. Main priority tasks
What are the most important tasks that you need to work on this week? What will have the biggest impact? Choose 3 to 5 tasks for the week and divide them up between your working days.
Remember to work with your schedule - if you have a busy day of meetings, don't schedule a task you don't have time for.
04. Reflect on last week
Evaluate your performance last week and choose one area of improvement to focus on this week.
Work on getting 1% better each day. Don't expect to change everything overnight.
